DEACON MINISTRY - Ministry Leader: Deacon Eugene Dawson
The word Deacon means servant. New Testament Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church-doing the benevolence work, visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation for the purposes of freeing the Pastor to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel. The Diaconate Ministry acts as the arms and legs of the Pastor. The Deacons are there to relieve the Pastor of any load that they are capable of carrying. Philippians 1:1; 1st Timothy 3; Acts 6
DEACONESS MINISTRY -
Ministry Leader: Deaconess Mary Dawson
Deaconess means servant. The Deaconess office is one in which competent, dedicated women serve the Lord and his people through providing spiritual care, instruction in the Faith, and acts of love. This is a ministry of holy women appointed to serve as Sacramental Assistants for the Church. They oversee and superintend the Holy Sacraments, which are those institutions given to the Church by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in which "He commanded. . ." the Church to do, namely; water baptism and Holy Communion.
The main responsibility of the Deaconess Board is to prepare and attend to all the details needed to carry out and perform each of the aforementioned ceremonies. The means and methods of this ministry are managed in cooperation with and under the direct supervision of the Pastor.
Additionally, this ministry is also responsible for maintaining and caring for the sacred vessels, altar coverings, and other sacramental linens.
TRUSTEE MINISTRY - Ministry Leader: Bro. Edwin Knighton
This ministry serves as legal representatives of the church, which grows out of the legal status of the church as a corporate body. The title of the church property is to be held in the names of the Trustees and all legal papers and legal transactions of the church are to be executed by the Trustees. They seek to provide excellent stewardship over Christ Temple's real and personal property in the name of the Lord. I Chronicles 29:16

The main function and ultimate goal as a ministry is to lead the congregation in praise and worship, to set the proper atmosphere for the Word of God to come forth and to bless others through the musical gifts that have been given to glorify the Lord. This ministry imparts and administers God’s WORD through the ministry of dance. Throughout scripture, dance is linked to life, freedom, salvation and victory over the enemy. Dance is a tool used to convey that power of the WORD to bring salvation to the afflicted and freedom to those who were bound through the physical movements of worshipping and praising God humbly in spirit and in truth.
GOLDEN HEARTS - Ministry Leader: Deas. Mary Dawson
This ministry will work to promote Christ-centered activities for senior adults and to encourage participation in these programs. They also assist in meeting the ministry needs of senior adults by planning meaningful activities that will provide opportunities for fellowship among senior adults.
WOMENS FELLOWSHIP - Ministry Leader: Sis. Romie Eason
This ministry seeks to assist the church in equipping Christ Temple women with Christ-centered agendas to better serve God, our families, the church and the community. It seeks to meet every woman at their point of need, and to strengthen her so that she may reach the point of her abundance. Every woman who is a member of Christ Temple is automatically a member of this ministry and provides Christ-centered fellowship activities, such as prayer, worship and Bible study.
MEN IN ACTION -
Ministry Leader: Bro. Isiah Young
The Men In Action Ministry will engage men in deepening their daily walk with Jesus, help them effectively share their faith with others, and encourage them to participate in missions work both locally and globally. They provide fellowship and a support base.
SINGLE ADULT MINISTRY (SAM) -
Ministry Leader: Sis. La Shonda Tyree
The Single Adult Ministry is for single adults who are legally single and not in the process of separation or divorce. Their core values are: *Spiritual Health: Committed to deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ and to grow strong and healthy in their knowledge, intimacy, and relationship with the Lord. *Significant Relationships: Build solid friendships with one another that will last for a lifetime, and encourage others towards a positive single lifestyle. *Sexual Purity: A safe place for both men and women to meet one another where mutual respect and honor are the hallmarks of all that they do. *Service Opportunities: Recognize that God has put each one of us here for a purpose, and that purpose is best discovered through our service to one another and the world.
SOCIAL SERVICES MINISTRY -
Ministry Leader: Sis. Shirley Johnson
The Social Services Ministry endeavors to provide access to comprehensive social services for those in economic and social crisis. We seek to enable people in need within our community to more fully support and nurture themselves and their families so that they can move out of poverty. We further support action that leads to a healthy and caring society, free of the oppression of poverty in its various forms. Participants of these services may receive referrals to job training programs and employment agencies or to other services. They may also help people in need of public assistance, food stamps and Medicaid through information and referrals.
MEDIA MINISTRY -

To provide the ministries of Christ Temple media assistance that will enhance their work. Media assistance may include: acoustical, sound reinforcement and lighting needs; broadcast audio, television, lighting, and DVD/Tapes to our sick and shut in members.
YOUTH TRANSFORMATION MINISTRY -

An effective Christ-centered program for youth that provides a positive means of communication with parents of children and other church members.
EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY - Ministry Leader: Sis. La Shonda Tyree
This ministry will inform about the need for scholarship funds and administer these funds to worthy students. They will screen applicants according to a standard application process and determine procedures for administering these funds to each individual.
HEALTH MINISTRY -

This ministry brings the hope of Christ to the church family and others through a growing understanding of Christian Stewardship in relation to spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and mental heath and to provide opportunities for Health Professionals to participate in Health Ministry. This ministry will function in a global manner and includes the Nurses’ Aides.

NURSERY MINISTRY - Ministry Leader: Sis. Kim Scruggs
This childcare ministry is a wonderful support ministry which allows lay persons to lead and participate in ministries of our church knowing their children are in good care. It provides a safe, caring, fun and God-filled place for our youngest children to be cared for and learn that Jesus loves them starting at birth. Children, aged 6 months (infants) through 4 years old, experience God's love through music, games, books, and social interaction with other children, nursery staff and volunteers during worship services.
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Provides transportation for church members in the safest, most cost efficient manner possible. They will also provide transportation to various church events.
